Hey sorry I've been slack lately.. I've had some stuff come up recently.

My Uncle Bob passed away late last Wednesday, so it's been about six days now. It's bad enough that he left us, but I've had to help my poor dad with everything. I planned, wrote, and arranged eulogies; picked out scripture readings; decided on poems to be read; gathered processional music; cooked for 25+ people; took my sister shopping for funeral clothes; photographed the funeral; arranged places for incoming family to stay; cared for my Aunt whose husband died; worked on a painting for my Aunt; cleaned the house for company; went grocery shopping; Anyway, I could go on and on with all of this, all the while grieving and having to keep going to school. I'm sorry for dumping on ya'll, I'm just stressed and needed to ... let go a bit of it.

On the upside I've gotten in touch with my practically-long-lost family on my dad's side, especially my grandfather (he was Uncle Bob's brother). I don't want to miss out on any of what time he has left here with us, so I've decided not to let a whole country get between us any longer. Long distance won't be an issue from now on.
